We’re grounded in real land and farm experience that stretches back generations.

Our story begins with the Attwell family working the land in Worcestershire. In the early 1960s, Michael Attwell started farming from humble beginnings, hand-rearing livestock and delivering fresh produce locally. That hands-on approach to land, soil, and practical challenges became part of who we are.

That same farming tradition later grew into other ventures rooted in practical land use and community: including Attwell Farm Park: a family‑run farm attraction sharing British agriculture with visitors of all ages, a place where the next generation gets their boots muddy and learns about husbandry, habitats, and land stewardship.

Alongside this, the family name became associated with Oakland International, a business launched in 1998 that has grown into a multi-award-winning enterprise known for strong operational standards, resilience, and long-term growth. Oakland’s success reflects the same practical, hardworking mindset that defines how we approach groundworks: careful planning, measured execution, and respect for the land.
