2. Website Information
We make every effort to ensure the information on this website is accurate and up to date. However, service descriptions, photographs, case studies and other information are provided for general guidance and may change without notice.
Photographs of completed projects are examples of our work and do not guarantee that every project will have the same results or specifications.
3. Enquiries and Quotations
Submitting an enquiry through our website, email or telephone does not create a contract or guarantee that we will undertake the work.
Any quotation provided by Cattwell Limited will be based on the information available at the time. Quotations may be subject to a site visit, confirmation of measurements, ground conditions, access and any other relevant requirements.
Unless otherwise stated, quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
Additional work, changes to the agreed specification or unforeseen site conditions may result in additional costs. Any changes will be discussed and agreed with the customer before the additional work is carried out, wherever reasonably possible.
4. Booking and Carrying Out Work
Work will be scheduled following acceptance of a quotation and agreement of the relevant arrangements.
Customers must provide suitable access to the site and make us aware of any known underground services, restrictions, hazards or other relevant site conditions before work begins.
We will take reasonable care when carrying out work. However, groundworks can involve unforeseen conditions, including buried obstructions, unsuitable ground, unknown services and variations in ground conditions.
Where these conditions affect the agreed work, we will discuss the situation and any necessary changes with the customer.
5. Payments
Payment terms, deposits and payment deadlines will be stated in the relevant quotation or invoice.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, balance is payable upon completion.
Any agreed additional work or materials may be charged separately.
Late or overdue payments may be subject to applicable statutory interest and recovery costs.
6. Cancellations and Changes
Any request to cancel or change booked work should be made as early as possible.
Where materials have already been ordered, costs have been incurred or work has already started, the customer may be responsible for reasonable costs incurred.
Any cancellation arrangements agreed between Cattwell Limited and the customer will take priority where confirmed in writing.
7. Responsibility and Site Conditions
Customers are responsible for providing accurate information about the site, including known underground pipes, cables, drainage systems and other services.
Cattwell Limited will take reasonable precautions when carrying out excavation and groundworks. However, we cannot accept responsibility for damage caused by inaccurate, incomplete or undisclosed information about underground services or site conditions, except where caused by our own negligence or breach of contract.
Any specific exclusions or limitations relating to a particular project will be set out in the relevant quotation.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
We will carry out our work with reasonable care and skill. Our liability will be subject to the terms agreed for the individual project and applicable UK law.
9. Intellectual Property
All text, photographs, logos and other content on this website belong to Cattwell Limited or are used with permission.
You may not reproduce, copy or use website content for commercial purposes without our written permission.
